Life purpose - we all have heard about it. What is it exactly? How can you find it? Do you find it or do you create it? These are the questions that we are going to answer today. Buckle up, because the eye-opening blog post is here. Let’s dive deeper into life purpose and how to find/create it! Let’s go!
What is life purpose?
Life purpose is something that gives meaning to your life. It’s a calling for your soul to begin the journey of your true authentic life. Having a life purpose is extremely beneficial when it comes to your growth, evolution, happiness, and success. Not having something to dedicate your life to can leave you feeling empty inside. This is why we need to have a life purpose so that we can live happily and grow mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Having a life purpose is a must if you want to grow as an individual!
Life purpose equals meaning in life.
Being a parent is a life purpose because you have to dedicate yourself to it and it gives your life meaning.
Wanting to become successful is a life purpose because you have to dedicate yourself to it and it gives your life meaning.
Desiring to become a top athlete is a life purpose because you have to dedicate yourself to it and it gives your life meaning.
And so on…
Do you get it now?
Life purpose is simply a goal/mission that requires your dedication and in return of that it gives meaning to your life.
It’s that simple.
Whatever you decide to dedicate your life to, becomes your life purpose.
So, the next logical question would be:
Is life purpose discovered or created?
Well, that’s a good question. It’s a mixture of both. You could either stumble upon your life purpose, or you could create it yourself.
If you really feel empty inside and there’s nothing in your life that feels worthy of your effort and energy, then consider starting looking for a life purpose. You could let destiny reveal your life purpose to you, but I assume that that’s not you. You need something to live for (assuming that you feel empty inside).
If you want to discover/create your life purpose, then start the seeking process. Those who seek, eventually find. That’s a universal truth!
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
-Jesus Christ
So, if you feel the need to find something to go after in life, then start looking for it. Be patient because it may take a while until you find it. You have to experiment with new things and keep seeking until you find. Do not give up the search until you find what you are looking for.
Everything in life must be earned. So, the price you will have to pay for finding a worthy goal/ideal to pursue is the price of restlessness. You will probably be restless on your seeking journey but that will end once you find what you are seeking.
SUMMARY:
Remember that life purpose is nothing mystical. It’s simply something that you dedicate your life to and in return of that it gives you meaning, it gives you something to live for. For the most part, we have different life purposes for different stages of our lives. However, if your life feels empty, then start the seeking process. Look for new exciting things that set your soul on fire. Once you find a worthy goal/ideal, then dedicate your life to it. That’s the only way to get satisfaction of your life purpose. You have to put everything on the line. Life purpose could be discovered spontaneously or it could be created intentionally. It’s up to you! However, having something that sets your soul on fire will definitely be beneficial to all areas of your life. You could have one life purpose now, and in 10 years, it may change. So, it’s important to stay open-minded and flexible to change. Life is always changing and evolving, and we should do the same. If you really want to discover/create your life purpose, then start seeking and don’t stop until you find it. Until you have that “aha” moment, where you know that you have found what you were actively looking for. It may take days, months, or even years, but remember that if you persist long enough, you will find it 100%. Seek and you will find!
Peace and Love,
